
ABOR tuition setting dates for new multi-year structure
Following are key dates for multi-year tuition setting for 做厙勛圖 State University, Northern 做厙勛圖 University and the University of 做厙勛圖. Earlier this year, the board approved a new multi-year tuition structure to increase cost predictability for resident students at 做厙勛圖s public universities, including setting maximum tuition growth rates.
University presidents will present to the board for approval maximum growth rates for resident tuition, academic fees, and meal and housing plans in a six-year cycle a cycle that will be revisited by the board during the fourth year of the six-year cycle.
Tuition setting events are:
- On March 10: University presidents tuition and fee proposals will be released. Links to the proposals will post here at approximately noon.
- On March 23, tuition proposals will be examined in-depth during the Capital, Finance and Resources Committee meeting. Committee meeting materials will post here on March 16. The meeting will be
- On March 28 from 3-5 p.m., the board will host a virtual livestreamed public hearing for students and the public to comment regarding the tuition proposals. Instructions on how to comment will be posted by Friday, March 17, under public notices on the ABOR website. Public comment on tuition will not be taken at the April 20 meeting given that a statewide public hearing will be held on March 28.
